The Wedeco brand ranks as one of Germany’s many success stories. Launched in 1976, the brand is world-leading for both water disinfection with UV, and water oxidation utilizing ozone.

From the very start, Wedeco has been focused on chemical-free and environmentally friendly water treatment that in a time of climate change is much sought after.

UV systems developed by Wedeco are photochemical processes that do not change the taste or composition of water. Wedeco ozone solutions are normally used for oxidation of drinking water or in industrial processes like paper bleaching. The Wedeco operation was acquired by ITT in 2004.
